Possibly completely unknown to folks across the pond, this is a thoroughly excellent show in which Mr Brooker assaults the news media in general. If you can access it, the most recent episode should be up on the BBC website. Contained therein is some fantastically pithy, pin-sharp digs at Glenn beck, O'Rly and various others. I commend it to you, good people. (I recommend anything by Brooker, in all truth. His old series, Screenwipe, is mostly on Youtube in bits, he created the wonder that was TV GoHome and most of his columns and TV reviews should be on the Guardian website)

I've seen bits here and there. It really is worth tracking down.

I hadn't witnessed the sheer glurge horror that is Glenn Beck before. That 9:12 campaign, his halting, verge-of-tears-all-the-fucking-time delivery, the incredibly bad suits...
Someone tell me he's an elaborate joke, please.

Shit, I love Brooker. How did I nto know about his new show?
BTW if you want to watch Screenwipe check out xthemusic's channel on youtube. Last time I was there s/he had every single episode.
Brooker knows that xthemusic put all the episodes on Youtube and actually refers to him on his Myspace page as a "helpful scamp" and directs you there to watch all the episodes. How cool is that?
This has lead some to believe that xthemusic is Charlie Brooker, but I doubt it due to the existence of full episodes Mock the Week also being on the channel.

'Scuse the necro-ing. This Column from today's Guardian is a rare serious piece by Brooker, and possibly the most utterly pinpoint destruction of the BNP's recent attempt to cast themselves as the "decent men of politics" (Hey, we might burn out the local Pakis, but we don't claim it on expenses!!) I've seen. Some worthy racist-apologist lulz amongst the comments, too.
