I don't like the signs with cursing on them. You're out in public, there might be families present, it just seems uncouth.

And there are times and places where certain words are appropriate. A rally on a public street where you want to get people on your side is not an appropriate place for those words. I have no problem with bad language. It is my favorite word in the English language. This doesn't mean I don't get annoyed when the jerk across the street is shouting it in casual conversation.

The words of others have only what power those that hear them give them. Cursing offends only those who choose to find the words offensive. And frankly, I couldn't care less if some random person across the street from me finds what I'm saying offensive. They don't like it, they can walk away.
