I'm not sure I quite buy this as a simulator of age. There are plenty of old folks who are nevertheless quite spry. While I suppose that loss of eyesight and hearing are luck of the draw and largely inevitable, a bent back, joint impairment, muscle loss, etc. can all be prevented fairly simply through exercise. (Notwithstanding genetic predispositions to things like arthritis, that is.)

Danny Trejo is 66, Sly Stallone is 64, and Mick Jagger is 67. All are old men at least three times my age. All are in better physical shape than me. So yeah, I doubt the exactness of this simulator.

They are common side effects to ageing. Does everyone experience all of them in the same way at the same time? No, of course not. That doesn't negate that a majority suffers many of them.
