]That's really interesting. I had seen that picture (or similar) before on conspiracy theory sites and wondered about it. The simulating weight explanation is laughably obvious, once it's pointed out. Isn't that how the vast majority of conspiracy theories are though, laughably obvious once pointed out? True. But they're kinda fun to speculate about. Not in a, you know, OMG they're out to get us kind of way, but more in a what if kind of way. You know? I can have days of fun with Roswell alone!

It's all fun and games until someone gets taken away by the G-men... I agree though, the speculation is fun, and it's quite interesting to see just how well some people can link things together.

Holy shit! I just figured it out! The truth is that █████████████ are actually controlling the ████████ █████ ██████████! Their plan is to [DATA EXPUNGED].
(I know Random did it first, I just did it better.)

Wait, why the hell didn't anyone tell me that there were eight presidents before Washington? That sounds...important...

Wait, why the hell didn't anyone tell me that there were eight presidents before Washington? That sounds...important... Because it actually isn't. Under the Articles of Confederation, there were actually (going by wikipedia) ten different Presidents of the Congress. Those men were not Chief Executives analogous to the Presidency under the Constitution. They were the elected-by-congress moderator for congressional discussions. It was not until after the Articles were tossed out and the Constitution brought in that was even a "United States" to preside over. Snopes has more details.
