Hochul won because Corwin pulled some really bad stunts late in the game that made her look really, really bad, and Davis is such a loser that only completely insane people vote for him.
Seriously, the TeaPartiers around here are more crazy than most other places. This has nothing to do with "Dem scare tactics" and everything to do with Tea Party idiocy.

As a New Yorker... Hot damn, way to go Kathy Hochul!
And yeah... when you back the Paul Ryan plan to axe Medicare... that doesn't reflect too well on your campaign there.

So a Republican is complaining because a Democrat is using the same strategy that politicians have been using for as long as I can remember? Excuse me while I buy a violin, learn to play it, and then play it for him during whatever he complains about at the time.

Wait, I thought the teabaggers were up in arms thinking Obama's health care would destroy their medicare? Now they're backing people that want to destroy it openly?

Ryan's bill will gut medicare. It's not a 'scare tactic' to accurately describe that element of the plan, particularly when Republicans falsely described the health insurance bill last year as a plan to gut medicare.
Not only that, but Ryan's bill will actually raise the deficit.
