So glad I'm not the only one who has rage cigarettes whenever a news story pisses me off. I as reading an article the other day that suggested that cigarettes might be contributing to health problems. |

Homophobia does, too, and I daresay an popped blood vessel is more dangerous (to most people, that is) than a few cigarettes.  Weird aside, but every time I see the word "homophobia", I immediately think of the idiots that go, "I ain't skurred of no homos!" |

It's kinda like hydrophobia and aquaphobia. They both technically mean fear of water, but hydrophobia is more commonly used to refer to rabies.

Yeah, but I like the "fear of being the same as someone" definition better, because it tells the reason for the fear.

The Coalition against Institutionalized Child Abuse has a rouges gallery of the WWASPS sadists. This creature:  Robert Lichfield, is a Mormon and a college dropout who was studying business but has no background whatsoever in pedagogy, psychology or counseling. For me he wins the "most punchable face of the new decade" award. The other arseholes in the rouges gallery are just as loathsome. He was a top contributor to Mitt Romney's campaign, but he was ditched from the campaign for some reason. |

I think that if my parents did this to me, I would get myself emancipated and then disown them completely. They do not deserve my love and attention.
I can imagine that this would be traumatizing to these teens, not to mention the unchecked abuses that go on that seem fit for a dictatorship.

They're children, they can't be treated like adults until they are 40/have kids of their own. And as everyone knows, the period between birth and independence must be spent squeezing every bit of difference between the child and zir parents out. They must be melted down and beaten into carbon carbon copies of their same sex parent. Letting a child be zirself is just BEGGING for trouble.
If they give you trouble, you're not squashing them hard enough. They must NOT be allowed into the world until they're formed into clones of you. They must believe, act, and think the same way that you do. Satan may be tempting them into such sins as responsible drinking, same-sex love, or making love out of wedlock, but you MUST NOT allow such things. Do whatever you must to make them see how wrong their desires are.
It's the only Godly thing to do.
