What happened to the audio at the last part? No idea. You have to turn up the volume, but it's still there.

What happened to the audio at the last part? The news articles said towards the end of his jokes they cut his mic and then kicked him off stage, so I'm guessing the audio ending was when they turned off his mic.

Hell, I laugh at some Obama jokes when they're appropriate.

This is probably the best thing that ever happened to that impersonator. He is going to get national attention for this.

Didn't Colbert do this sort of thing a while ago? Yeah, at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Differences between that and this include: not an exclusively Republican event, was not kicked out.

Hell, I laugh at some Obama jokes when they're appropriate. There are plenty of Obama jokes that I laugh at even when they're inappropriate.

People think jokes are good when they think they're true*. Republicans do not think that jokes to the effect that 'Republicans are bad' are funny because they don't think that's true. Just like I don't think 'blacks are inferior' jokes are good because I'm not a racist.
*Of course, there's also anti-humour (racist, sexist, anti-sematic, disgusting, ect) that's funny because it's unfunny or insultingly wrong.

We all say they don't have a sense of humor and can't laugh at themselves, and they can't but what if this happened at a Democratic convention. What if there was a democratic convention and a George W Bush impersonator came on stage ripping on the democratic party. Would the audience be much different?

What if there was a democratic convention and a George W Bush impersonator came on stage ripping on the democratic party. Would the audience be much different? I was thinking about that, too, but Jimmy Fallon ripped into Obama fairly harshly and didn't get kicked out, or even booed. Then again, it wasn't a purely Democratic event.
