To which I say: when the rights of non-millionaires are ignored or violated regularily by the elites, "free speech" quickly becomes "right to be lied to and to stay misinformed and ignorant". When both the press and government (with its education department) serve only the needs of the rich, you get ignorant masses making very poor decisions in life. Which is why I really, really *hate* News Corp. with their "we can lie whenever we want to, because it's 'entertainment'" stance on the journalism. |
