Hmm...and here I was reading Shane's post as something more along the lines of a joke. I was too. Up until the butthurt. That kinda...You know, convinced me otherwise. Me being "caustic" was merely me responding tongue in cheek. But hey...It's not like it swings both ways or anything. It honestly looked like you were taking her post too seriously. |

On a board where I made a faux-mysogisnist post immediately following three others (Including SFW, I believe) and was the only one called out as serious, forgive me if I don't really find that to be of particular note. The default assumption here seems to be that i r soooo srs rite nao. This has extended to me "threatening" Ironbite, being anti-abortion, and probably something involving Hitler, because I feel like being particularly silly. Time and again, I am taken as hyper serious on all sorts of issues, despite prior history generally pointing to the contrary. Pattern recognition FTL. This post is significantly more serious than I usually am, and that involves a faux-Hitler invokation. Even use of smilies doesn't seem to stop people from assuming seriousness, so I usually don't even bother with them. But alas, I fear people might take this as "caustic," so I will leave you with this: |
