Ok, I've been thinking about this for some time. I am an LJ user and it is well known that it's mascot/symbol is Frank the goat, however I am quite surprised and amused to see fundies on that site, considering that the mascot would be found *satanic* by quite a few of them.
What other unusual places on the web, where you had encountered a fundie?

Go to the Comments section at the bottom of Any AOL news story, and you'll find some. The news story could be about kids walking their dogs, and you'll Still have fundies finding something to preach about with it.
The only reason I haven't posted any is because they're too stupid to talk about. If I really want to give people headaches, it'll either be from My own words or a heavy mallet.

The IMDB message boards have an occasional good one. I found one back when "300" came out that said it was what happened when people fell away from God and the Ten Commandments and such...basic fundie drivel that had nothing to contribute to the conversation.

I was struck to see fundies at About.com's Cats site--as in, caring for and understanding your pet cat and looking at cute cat pictures--express religious objections to spaying and neutering cats!

I once found fundies on a gardening site. I don't know how exactly cactuses have anything to do with religion, but apparently they do.

For a long while, on the old site, we were getting a fuckton of quote submissions from GameFaqs and the World of Warcraft forums.
You'd think fundies wouldn't play WoW considering how many of them feel about D&D and Harry Potter. Nor would you ever suspect so many were hardened computer-gamers, as fundies tend not to approve of half the stuff to be found in 90% of games.

I just got bitched out by a couple of people on a Tony Stewart fan forum because I made the following joke:
"How come the National Day of Prayer people always end up sponsoring a driver who can only win by divine intervention?" (They do. Every year, just one time. This time it was Regan Smith, who did almost win Talladega last autumn, but only by bending the rules and by the fact that Talladega's really unpredictable.)
Unfortunately, it's e-mail only, so I can't show off the fuckwittery I got on the mainpage, but apparently that joke is sacriligious (I don't quite get why) and offensive to Christians. *sighs* It's a bit surprising because of all the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers, Tony Stewart is among the least likely to attract members of the People Against Smiling as fans.

I used to play a MUD, effectively a text-based WOW that dates back to the nineties, and one of the players objected to roleplaying his character's faith in any of the world's gods as he felt it broke the first commandment. He didn't last real long there. Ironically, one of the principal gods of the setting is heavily based on the god espoused by middle ages Christianity.

Cacti Sorry ~~~ Actually cactuses is correct, especially when describing more than one species of cactus. In the same way fishes and fish are both acceptable plural declensions of 'fish'.

I started hosting my art on deviantART.com a few months ago. I spend some time each day looking through other peoples work, and I will occasionally come across a page that has a long fundie argument in the comment section. It's usually about creationism, abortion, or gays. Then again, what else is there when it comes to fundie preaching?

I found it a bit odd that we recently had a few fundie quotes submitted from a Flyleaf fan forum. What are fundies even doing listening to Flyleaf in the first place much less going to their forum? It is just bizarre... www.flyleaffans.com/vbulletin/

But of course they would, Lilo. That's a form of birth control, and when they say " every sperm is sacred", they mean just fuckin' that.
