UPDATE: The DADT repeal has been certified and will officially be history 60 days from today (September 20). The lawsuit in Log Cabin Republicans v. United States of America is still pending.
-----
The DADT Repeal will be certified today as Secretary of Defense. President Obama, Secretary Panetta, and Chairman Mullen have a planned meeting today at 2:45PM EDT where it is widely expected that they will certify the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
While there is then a 60-day waiting period, the matter of a stay in the decision of Log Cabin Republicans v. United States of America is still pending and could possibly result in this waiting period not going into effect.

If someone expresses exaggerated agreement with members of a religious organization, chances are it is probably sarcasm.

Obviously this is good news for America, the billions of soldiers who will leave the armed forces over this will allow us to massively cut our military spending.

Could I get a link to that story, perchance. It is a nice change from the bad news we keep getting.
