Be reasonable, guys. the lawsuits are the only income the RIAA has left! Yeah, ever since they pulled all of their staff off other stuff to pursue lawsuits, they've had nothing but money troubles!

The lawsuits are completely insane, and the penalties were originally designed with bootleggers in mind. Selling hundreds of bogus copies for profit != sharing on average one copy for free.

On the other hand, their production of evil is up 12000% over 20 years ago! I think that may have more to do with the game industry. While "taping off the radio is stealing" was evil, "used games are stealing" is a level of evil the RIAA can only hope to achieve. And unlike the RIAA, the VG industry seems to be getting their message out.
