The tea baggers have heavy duty blinders in place to prevent them from seeing just how damaging their policies really are to the US economy, and, by proxy, the global financial community. They're never going to admit that they're wrong. It's frustrating to watch these idiots feed this economic black hole, one which is influencing my own country (we managed to fare the recession better than a number of other nations, but not without some damage along the way), whilst being unable to do much about it -- I can't even vote against these fuckers, even if doing so would have minimal influence on its own.

I have a tea bagger co worker. What's worse is he's a union steward. When you say heavy duty blinders, that's an understatement.

We have tea baggers at my job too. They tried talking with me before but were rather abruptly shot down. They basically just regurgitated what they heard and when I asked them why they believed the way that they do, and what caused them to think in such a fashion, they couldn't answer anything.
I told them that until they could explain why they believe what they do, we couldn't have the discussions anymore.

When I was in the Army all Bagger arguments end with the caveat: "Its on the internet look it up."

My BiL thinks that there are countries to go to if the US economy well and truly tanks. It's adorable how he thinks anybody would have the quality of life he's used to if the shit really hits the fan.

Our only chance is to outbreed them.

I really wish that they would just fuck and make up in Washington. It's not the time for this kind of political horseshit. FYI, tea party republicans: the majority of America wants a compromise. They also seem to be rather averse to a Great Depression. So what the fuck?
