Sorry Scotsgit, that won't be possible. See, they can afford the private security and gated communities necessary to prevent you from doing that. The fact that you can't afford the same means they can pour it in your front lawn all they like and you shouldn't expect the government to help you. So.... Contact the EPA and claim that these people are dumping toxic sludge under their swimming pools. Watch their faces as an organisation that they loathe turns up to help them. Charming as this image is, the EPA does not work that way. If somebody is dumping toxic waste into somebody's pool, the police get involved. The EPA is essentially for tracking environmental health data, supporting the formulation and revision of enviromental laws, and for ensuring that corporations and other organizations abide by federal and state pollution regulations.

They were also talking about cutting disability checks for the month of August. Are you serious, Repubs? People who live off their checks because they may not be able to get to work, and you want to cut THAT? You assume they give a flying fuck about people who don't own major corporations. I'd like to note that, in this case, that wasn't the GOP. That was Obama. I'm getting to the point where I just don't care anymore. There's NOTHING that can be done about the goddamn Republicans. Well, nothing that's legal, anyway. The only thing that can be tried is voting against the Republicans at every opportunity. And for me, that's a futile action, what with Utah being so damn red that it's amazing we have Jim Matheson (a Democrat) as a Representative. Unless you're in the Salt Lake area don't expect to see a (D) after a mayor's name. Unfortunately, Salt Lake doesn't have enough people who vote Democrat for the Electoral College to give a shit about non-Republican votes.

There are many other ways of actions possible: start distributing leaflets, petitions, organisze a rally, strike actions, blokkades, sit ins or occupation of some crucial area - see the protest in Wisconsin last winter. There are many actions possible. But crucial thing. Don't do it alone, or in a small group. The power of the working class lies in it's number. Use it. There for you need to organise.

The true tragedy of Ghostbusters is that poor Agent Peck was absolutely justified in his aggressive investigation of a bunch of apparently scam-artist scofflaws operating unlicensed, portable nuclear accelerators in public spaces and maintaining a highly experimental and untested hazardous waste storage facility in the middle of Manhattan. If Venkman hadn't been such an obstructionist dick to him, it's unlikely he would have ordered the containment facility shut down like he did. Peck was just doing his job, man!

But that's what Ghostbusters is about. The evul gummit trying to shut down hard-working men guilty of only running unlicensed particle accelerators and other dangerous machinery.

You appear to be under the impression that most Utahns are able to see past political boundaries, or are willing to actually rationally consider that maybe the way that maybe "socialist" isn't inherently bad. If someone refuses to see reason, reasoning won't do shit.
