Wow. He really goes off. I'm not sure I quite agree that he "gets it" - his thing about extraction smacks of conspiracy theory, although that doesn't mean it's wrong so I don't know - but saying that Congress is bought seems awfully correct especially after the recent SCOTUS ruling allowing corporations to make unlimited donations.
Although when he was talking about "bought Congress," I kept thinking "bot-Congress". Robots!

I along with others like the idea of Jon Stewart for president. Talk host on comedy central yes, but he actually has an acute understanding of civics and political science.

His base point is correct. All sides are too busy looking at their bank accounts to actually do what is best for the people. It is standard political corruption. Unfortunately as long as money has an effect on who can and cannot be elected this problem will remain. Short version, democracy does not actually work, it just fails less than the other systems.

But the other part thinks he actually has more power as the most trusted news anchor in America. He can call both sides on their bullshit more effectively.

The system is completely dysfunctional. Both parties are complicit. Both parties are indictable.

He's more evil than even him.
And he's voiced by Vincent Price.
