His only position on anything seems to be that he's against abortions--in fact, he thinks it should be a capital offense. He's been arrested over 40 times. For Civil Disobedience, sure, but it still looks bad. It looks even WORSE when you find out that he basically condoned George Tiller's murder. Then there's the fact that his organization is behind barricading abortion clinics, protesting gay rights, burning the Koran, etc. He seems to be against everything they're for. And in general a loon & a PR nightmare. I'd think that even the Republicans would be hesitant to associate themselves with him after the whole Tiller thing.

Seems like he's running for a democratic candidate this time around because he got beaten in Republican twice.
Seems like he's a single issue politician as it is, so that's probably one reason he gets beaten.
That he seems quite mad is probably another contributing factor.

I figured that's why he's doing it. What I'm wondering is why he's even being considered. Or do you just have to say that you want to run for that party to be a "potential candidate"?

He has filed official paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission, so he is technically an official Democratic candidate for President (which is he why he is listed alongside Obama on the Wikipedia page for the 2012 Democratic Primary), even if he has absolutely no shot whatsoever in getting the nomination.

Trying to split the vote actually. The GOP knows the Tea Party's gonna split they're vote so they're trying to make it a 4 way split, thinking they have enough if the Dem's get split. Problem is, this guy's a single issue guy and pretty damn disgusting. He won't do shit and just waste money on both sides.
Ironbite-stupid but rather terrifying.

So, killing a fetus is wrong but killing a human being is okay? What if the fetus you save grows up to be an abortion doctor? Will they still have a "right to life?"

In fitting with the stereotype, he's against all death that isn't capital punishment. Abortion? Should be illegal. Right to die? Nope. Someone got an abortion? BLAAAARGHDEATHPENALTY!
All of these theoretical motives are equally dumb. I can't decide what he's trying to do.

Well cons have been trying to link Democrats to terrorism for a while now.
Looks like one of them decided since the Dems werent' cooperating, he would do it himself.
