That's...not saying much. My ring finger's done more to end bullying than both of the Bachmanns. :x Amaranth: And she'll have a clear conscience, knowing that anything these asshats may try will get THEM in trouble, not her. It's always fun to watch bullies stew in their own juices. Bachmann's probably pro-bullying. At least, tacitly. She's not tacitly pro-bullying. She voted against anti-bullying legislation, her district's anti-gay suicide rate is so bad its deemed a "suicide contagion" by the authorities. Her words: There's a difference between apathy and actively pushing the argument backward. Most of us are, sadly apathetic, but we have arguments against that. Bachmann and increasingly, the rest of the conservative movement, devote time and money against bullying protection and encouraging bullying. If nothing else that gives the rest of us a moral high ground and a reason to not be apathetic anymore.

Her words: That has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. So, picking on those weaker than you and being an asshole is "manly," and girls are timid little does who sit in the background giggling and never cause any trouble? Shit, girls can make some of the nastiest bullies around.

I have no problem with this. Same. I applaud the actions of the photographer, she saw the problem and actually took steps to raise awareness.

On the down side, those girls will most likely just whine like spoiled little bitches instead of stepping back and reconsidering their actions. Still, kudos to the photographer -- if others were to follow her example, it might actually lead these kids to think twice before unabashedly harassing their peers. The fact that she forwarded the posts to the parents is definitely a bonus.

Shit, girls can make some of the nastiest bullies around. Word. I have no problem with this. We've kicked people out of the store at work for being assholes (one dude called my coworker a racial slur and my boss basically shoved him out the door, and a girl kept coming by the store, only for us to realize she was a psycho stalkerbitch and was waiting for a boy who worked next door to walk by, then she'd go try to get his attention. It was whack.), so I really don't have a problem with it.

By the way, since it HAS to be referenced...
Frocobo says NO!
(And anyone who gets that deserves a cookie)

I actually found the photographer's website and sent her a nice message. Gives me hope for humanity.

Expect this to be brought up anytime a homosexual is denied service.
"If its OK to deny someone service because the photographer believes the students' behaviour was unacceptible, it is therefore OK to deny someone service because the hotelier/wedding venue operator/wedding dress seller believes the homosexuals' behaviour is unacceptible".
Every single time. Just sayin'.

The difference is, a bully's behaviour hurts other people. Sometimes a lot of other people. Whereas loving someone of the same sex doesn't harm anyone involved.

I am merely pointing out what's going to happen. If one person denying others a service as an exercise in self appointed morality policing is accepted and lauded by others, don't be suprised when other people expect to be just as lauded for doing the same thing, even when their morality is very different to your own.
