It did, and Flynn shanked Irwin with a passing stingray. Of course, Flynn is actually a Tasmanian, so whether or not he counts as "Australian" is highly contentious. But was the Stingray Australian? All stingrays are Australian. By default. Any creature so bad arse, poisonous, and evil looking is automatically considered Australian. Ditto electric eels and Great White Sharks.
