I found another goldmine of anti-gay rights rhetoric. It also has pieces on feminism and witchcraft and why the Day of Silence is bad for America. Oh joy. www.missionamerica.com/EDIT: Changed to the " " format

Radical groups are always quick to adopt pseudo-patriotic garb to attract supporters under the assumption that not supporting them would be unpatriotic. Sadly, this tactic often works, but it's fortunately starting to become a dead-horse trope.

These people aren't for America. They're for a christian version of Saudi Arabia.

The same reason that Dictatorships like to call themselves 'Democratic Republics'? From Yes MinisterSir Humphrey: East Yemen, isn't that a democracy? Sir Richard Wharton: Its full name is "The Peoples' Democratic Republic of East Yemen." Sir Humphrey: Ah, I see, so it's a communist dictatorship.

Same reason anti-gay psychos like to use "Family" in their name, it's pathos appeal, tugs at the heartstrings. Also, damn you to the people who started posting tvtropes stuff on here, I already went on my wiki walk for the day and had to go on another one!

If you don't agree with us, you're against families! Why are you against families, you sick fuck? Do you want perverts ruining this country? Think of the children!" Sort of like how anti-choicers have the balls to call themselves "pro-life" while lying to and intimidating women seeking abortions. If a woman comes forward and talks about how abortion made her want to become an hero, the pro-lifers applaud her. But if a woman says she didn't feel any guilt over it and felt it was the best thing she could do, she's a slut who is damned to hell.
