A bunch of anarchists calling themselves "savage terrorists" sent a bomb off to the director of the technology park at the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico, Armando Herrera Corral. The bomb did not detonate but contained enough explosives to level the building it was sent to.
So what's their beef? It's not small furry animals or experiments conducted on them, it's not GM crops or cloned sheep - these guys oppose the coming of our nanobot overlords.
The terrorists, Herrera Corral, Aceves López, and Camacho who actually work in the fields of computing, robotics and nanotech are from an organization calling themselves Liberación Total who have committed similar actions against other scientists have cobbled together a manifesto warning of the potential dangers of a grey and gooey future.
And how do they intend to save us. By beating up on those nasty systemy scientists-that's how!
It's weirdly ironic that the only other person I know of who shares the exact same batshit insane fears of grey goobers that these black-flag toting vanguard of the proletariat do is this guy!
So don't fret humanity, the swarms of evil gooey microbots will be thwarted by schizo anarchist bombers and er...Charlie.
