I'll bet they can't make up their own mind though. They'll probably be told by their significant other who to vote for.
But I guess it IS a start. Now, just let women drive and get jobs without having to consult their hubbies and THEN we can really make progress.

And allow them to step outside their homes without a male family member escort so then they can go to the grocery store at their own convenience then we are really making progress...

Driving cars is serious stuff. Voting in an oligarchy isn't.

Wait a minute, isn't Saudi Arabia an absolute monarchy? Who would the people vote for?

If I remember the Saudi Royal Family has absolute veto power, but allows the Saudi citizens to vote for a prime minister and government of sorts. This is a step in the right direction, a small step, but a step none the less.

And let's see how many cases of voter intimidation we can find.

Okay. Women can vote. Great.
But they still can't go out unchaperoned.
This is what I see happening.
Saudi Woman: "Today is voting day! I want to go vote!" Husband and Male Relatives: "Tough shit, we're not taking you."

Or better yet, we'll take you voting if you vote for this guy.
Ironbite-this is still a crappy situation over there
