Yes I agree we need a monarch. I nominate myself, crow myself and kill anyone who says otherwise. Ironbite-there, problem solved. Crow yourself? Not sure what that is exactly, but it sounds like it involves animal cruelty.

As monarch you can totally declare that crow is the new word for crown.

Alternately, he can wear a bird as his crown.
It would go charmingly with his feathers...

...Because I'd expect a "royal family" to actually do work, too? I mean, there's a reason I brought up Britain, and that's because much of the royal family has actually done things like work in the military and stuff like that. ...so I'm going to crash this thread late and potentially open up a can of worms, in particular with the below: "The simple truth is that they do very little. Mark Bolland, former press officer for Prince Charles, was quoted on Janet Street Porter's BBC programme in 2005 as saying 'the Windsors are very good at working three days a week, five months of a year and making it look as though they work hard'."From here. In summary, the USA shouldn't have a monarchy. It's going backwards fast enough as it is.

I think that this is all about the Civil War. The last civil war the United Kingdoms had was in the 17th century. Corrected that for you.

*cough* Kardashians *cough cough* Paris Hilton *cough* Jersey Shore *cough cough* ... You're really gonna bring up people that every reasonable person hates? Geez, will you people go to any lengths to make Americans look bad? When was the last time these aforementioned were treated like royalty? And don't even think about saying that only America has obnoxiously frivolous celebrities. That is obviously false and you know it. If I want to watch someone making the USA look bad, I find that reading your posts has the desired effect.

They're celebrities because they're rich, they flaunt their tits, and they're fucking retarded for the most part *coughKardashianscough*). That is why they're famous. Everyone knows this, yet magazines still hound them because, guess what. IT SELLS COPIES OF THEIR SHIT. This is not going to change. About half of this (rich, center of media attention) is the same for the royal family in Britain. Comparisons are made because both are pretty much equally fucking useless.

Do we need people who accomplish nothing of significance, but on whom millions of dollars in tax money are spent each year? Well, we already have plenty of those, and we're no better for it.
