I can attest that heavy machine guns don't seem to bother kangaroos much.

Replace the tent with a toilet and you have a perfect stunt for a Japanese prank show.

So is Occupy Wall St over? No it's still going. Some stuff: 3rd December, the LGBT folks from West Hollywood marched in solidarity with Occupy LA. Occupy UCR is still going, and Occupy UCSD just sprang up because the closed the library. The CSU system has started because of a 9% tuition increase. Occupy UCLA was busted but is reorganizing.

For anyone wondering what the next stage of OWS would be, I think I found it. It would appear that some groups are planning on occupying foreclosed homes so that homeless families (especially minorities and/or those suffering with HIV/AIDS) have a place to live. I don't know how this is expected to play out, but BofA has told their employees not to intervene, for safety's sake. This move is roughly coordinated between 25 cities across the US, from NYC to Petaluma, CA, to Lake Worth in FL and Southgate, MI. Anyone who opposes this move (cue banks and Republicans) is probably going to take a lot of heat for it, seeing as some instances of foreclosure prevention were to keep women from 75 to 103yrs old from losing their homes. You've got to be a pretty sadistic fuck to support something like that. Of the possible directions OWS could have taken, this is probably among the best ones. Instead of taking up public space without any definitive reason, helping people keep their homes, or getting the homeless into them, is something that everyone, regardless of their opinion of OWS, should be able to support. And how can you reasonably oppose this, thereby supporting throwing families and seniors on the street, and still sound like a decent person?

You honestly think the insane Republicans care about sounding like good people? They've swallowed Ayn Rand's cock and are already asking for seconds.
