Alright! Now, which country to invade next? What invasion? You been reading Fox News? We didn't invade Libya. Bush invaded 2 countries and killed 5000+ of his own men and we are still there. Obama hasn't invaded anywhere yet Bin Laden dead, Al Queda on the run, Gaddafi dead. It would appear it is possible to help oppressed people around the world without bombing them back to the stone age. Well... sorta invaded Pakistan to get Osama. What definition of "invasion" are you using?

Well, that's a lovely image. I do enjoy seeing such things when I'm wandering around with my kids* in a store.
*I don't actually have any kids.

Thankfully, I much prefer not to watch cable news and instead get my news from either here or various internet sources.

I can understand how people could legitimately think this. I can understand how people can think that Bush waging war in Iraq was a good and righteous thing to do. But I cannot, for the life of me, understand how someone can belive both things at once, since they are, essentially, the same scenario. Only the President and the country are different.
There was a time, in high school, when I first read Orwell's 1984 that I couldn't get my head around the idea of Doublethink. I simply couldn't suspend my disbelief enough to buy that people could simultaneously believe mutually contradictory things like that. Thanks to RR, those days are long gone. As I think I have already mentioned, what shits me most about RR is the way they take pride in their historical ignorance.
Mussolini, anyone? For fuck's sake.

Oliver Cromwell: Despite being dead for two years, he was dug up and beheaded and then quartered with the pieces being sent to four cities in England as a warning to others.
