Although I'm a theist, I believe that "In god we trust" should not be on our money.

I think there should be no drug prohibition. Access to drugs should be regulated and taxed but if you are over 18 and want to get MDMA, Heroin, Cocaine, Meth, Mescaline, Marijuana or LSD etc you should be able to from a chemist or grow your own in the case of Pot, mushrooms, Peyote etc. You should however not be able to drive while under the influence and it should be treated the same as DUI. Authorise the use of Heroin in hospitals as an analgesic.
I think immigrants to Australia should be treated the same whether they arrive by plane or by boat. Seriously the numbers we are talking about are fucking insignificant in the scheme of things and we are unecessarily demonising and dehuminizing a section of the community. Hold them in detention long enough to make sure they aren't a risk (by way of a quick backround check and TB/HIV tests) then release them into the community with reporting and work obligations. Make it a condition of any resulting visa that they must work in a regional area for at least 2 years.
For skilled immigration add points if they undertake to work in regional areas. Increase the intake of skilled immigrants.
Put an international moritorioum on commercial fishing. Invest heavily in aquaculture fish farming, pay to retrain fisherman as fish farmers.
Use nucleur power.

Drugs should be our new form of currency. We should have a state religion, & it should be Voltronism. Under this new regime, all who dislike Voltron should be subject to punishment by the new legal system. All sentences for crime now depend on picking the sentence out of a hat. This is also how we will decide all other societal issues. Same hat, same options.

I think the drinking age should be lowered, but otherwise the age of consent and voting age is good where it is (for Americans).

Everything davedan said.
Nation-states should be abolished (not overnight). And obviously: workers should take control of the means of production.

Americanized Voltron, or the original version, Lithp? It's a religion, so the True Voltronism, DUH.

Ditto on ending war on drugs. Currently illegal drugs should be changed to prescription, with recreation as a valid reason, as long as the user takes a course and is held to a quota (handled by the prescription process).

I believe positive eugenics would be a good thing, and indeed necessary for the preservation or advancement of our modern technological society. I think eugenics are pretty reasonable. Agriculture would hardly be possible without it. The problem comes when somebody decides they want to breed out the Judaism, or the liberalism or something. Hence positive eugenics, which is promoting positive traits, rather than negative eugenics, which is eliminating negative ones. Oh, and I also believe all drugs should be legalised and regulated.

All corporate money/lobbying should be removed from politics. Barring that, any politician caught voting in ways that undermine their constituents' well-being for the sake of special interests should be tried for treason and punished accordingly.
Anyone who does not understand the science behind climate change, evolution, or any other heated topic cannot be allowed to discuss the issue in public forum, and will be made to look like the fool they are on all relevant news outlets.
Any citizen caught comparing politician X (X = I dislike them) to Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc. shall be banned from voting in the next election cycle. Any politician caught likewise will be fired.
A politician's personal life shall not be discussed or used for slander unless their lifestyle contradicts the values they supported when running for office. Their families should not need to suffer further humiliation simply because they're related to a public figure.
Politicians' salaries will be among the first items on the chopping block in the event of a financial recession/depression. - Politician's will not receive a higher salary than teachers.

I am really not a fan of democracy. Under the guise of "freedom", democracy places the stability of nations at the mercy of the outcome of what is basically a game. And because once that game has been won the winners know they'll need to play it again just a few years later, the long-term planning that might involve unpopular decisions becomes just too difficult as the other teams in the game have a vested interest in seeing the country fail.

Game stores should be penalized for selling to minors and to selling to parents who do not watch after their kids.
