What is wrong with this country? Seriously. I can understand subtle homophobia. I can understand subtle implications that Obama is godless or whatever. This is mind-blowingly stupid. This is so ridiculously idiotic that it actually boggles the mind. How did we as a country fall so far that a politician can spew bald-faced lies and blatant hatred and still expect people to vote for him?
The only consolation is the number of dislikes.

What is wong with this country is that a person like him thinks he is a suitable president and that many others agree.

No matter how many times I see this kind of garbage, it still stuns me. If a politician created an ad like that up here they'd have essentially forfeited the election. It's really fucked up that the US -- once a leader in progression -- is falling backwards so quickly.

What part of America does he live in where children don't celebrate Christmas?

I was going to post this.
So basically: acceptance of homosexuality = war on religion.
It's really scary when FSTDT worthy quotes are made by those running for President.

I disliked it and reported for hate speech. I love that comments aren't allowed on the video.

You can check for comments on his channel page.
Yeesh, he's getting chewed out. Maybe not a good idea to blatantly spout hatred as a political campaign ad...
ETA: Wait, children can't pray in school? The school can't lead prayer, but I didn't know the children couldn't pray on their own. Isn't that the whole point of the "Moment of Silence?"

Perry says he's a badass because he's not afraid of being a Christian, says that the country is going to shit because of gays in the military, whines that Christians are persecuted because of no public prayer in school. The transcript is here: I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a Christian, but you don't need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there's something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can't openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school. As President, I'll end Obama's war on religion. And I'll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage. Faith made America strong. It can make her strong again. I'm Rick Perry and I approve this message.

Because they are such a minority. Oh noes gays! Despite the fact that they can and do. Reads: Not catering to one religion like he is suppose to. Yet stated nowhere in our Constitution. Also prolonged slavery and hindered women's sufferage. Just saying.
