You know, you would think he would be smarter than this, but the man is all about appealing to the least common denominator. Whether he's earnest about it or just pandering is a moot point.
Just remember that this is the guy who though that the solution to the [ongoing] drought in Texas was to pray for rain.

I might recommend linking that first one too. Yeah, wouldn't hurt. Linking initiated.

Some math regarding Rebecca Black's song vs. Perry's ad: "Friday" had about 3% of the viewers clicked like or dislike. It has 28% likes, 72% dislikes. "Strong" had about 35% of viewers clicked like or dislike. It has 2% likes, 98% dislikes. So it's not all bad. To be totally fair, this implies: "Friday" Like - 0.8% Dislike - 2.2% Apathetic - 97.0% "Strong" Like - 0.7% Dislike - 34.3% Apathetic - 65.0% ...wow, the guy still looks bad. So.... Rebecca Black should run for President?

he's beaten Rebecca Black in number of dislikes with less than 1/10th the views! You know, I'm actually kinda impressed by this.

Not to mention, the dislikes outnumber the likes by orders of magnitude.

One really does begin to wonder how people like this have any power what so ever.

So.... Rebecca Black should run for President? Erm... yes. That is exactly, down to the last detail, what I am implying. America has had its first black President; now it's time for its first Black President. Badumtish, etc.

This is a neat trick. Hard as it is to have foot in mouth while having head up ass at the same time, Perry goes the extra mile. Not content to simply remove his foot from his mouth, Perry pushes it deeper until his toes are dangling out of his ears. Rick Perry Doubles Down on Homophobic, Theocratic ad

Heh. Rick Perry turned off not only comments on his videos, he also turned off "likes" and "dislikes" on his latest video (this time against health care).

The sheer volume and proportion of dislikes of his video has actually given me some faith in humanity and my fellow Americans back.
Thank you, Internet!

I wonder how many of those dislikes are actually from other countries.
