I wonder how Mr Mannnnnnnnnnn would like a Lightning Bolt (caster level 5) to the face... You're going to throw 5 six sided dice at me? There's your answer.

Mr. Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnehnehneh needs to re-read his copy of "Dark Dungeons". That reminds me, my DM apparently didn't get the memo about teaching us magic at level 8. Can anyone here instruct me?

Magic Missile is a Level 1 Sor/Wiz spell, everyone knows that! I'll admit, it is damn useful for a good portion of any given campaign, though.
My favorite early-game combo is Shield, Mage Armor, and Magic Missile. +8 AC and guaranteed 1d6 (minimum) force damage? Hell yes!

So how do they track whether you're actually the person on RR that you claim to be. If I was to accidentally say I was Seemomgonuts (which I am not), how are they to tell if I (oops, I mean Seemomgonuts) am the real deal or an evil troll? Do they just ban it indiscriminately? I'm obviously not Seemomgonuts, but you can see the potential of how this can be used to mess with RR. But not really, because RR is messing with itself(posts here are of no concern to RR).

They know you're a troll because you act somewhat sane.

Mr. Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnehnehneh needs to re-read his copy of "Dark Dungeons". He just need to be aware of the rewrite that Chick did to it. What Jack Chick doesn't want you to see. Riiight. And Dean Martin was the sober one.

Well part of it is the fact that they regularly look over here (like Snidley/Mr Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn) to see if a person is claiming to have "snuck in to RR". Also, sooner or later, you might slip up. Say something in support of science, or not toe the official line exactly, and they'll start to suspect you. When you are open about who you are, they will watch over here to see what you're saying about your threads over there. They're paranoid, basically. They have a closed community of people who (supposedly) believe exactly as they do, and they do not wish to associate with anyone who disagrees in the slightest. It's certainly their right, even if it's extremely odd. Marc

They still haven't caught me yet. Mostly because I rarely post and never mention my activities over here.

Though my RR account fundie alter ego (more like altar ego, amirite?) DOES post Bible verses about Jeebus telling us to love one another and feed the sick and shit, so I might manage to get banned for that eventually. Now I wonder if this will start a witch hunt of the least-hateful posters on RR.

Is it possible that there's someone there who is able to check the members' IP addresses in other forum websites? If so, maybe that is their secret weapon...

normally the only way that would be possible would be to have information sharing between sites. Or a shared mod (head aspolde!).
However, it would be possible that someone at RR is highly placed at proboards, who would have all of our IP info. That would only account for recent bannings, though.
