The vote was 60 to 39 all the Democrats and the independents voted to move the health care reform forward.

Yay!
For those curious, it was an Ohio Senator that missed the boat- err, the vote.

Ok cool! So what needs to be done now before it gets to Obama's desk? Now it'll go to the Conference--a small group of a few Representatives and a few Senators--where the differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill will get worked out.

Gotta go to Commission and hopefully the two bills get reconciled, then voted on again, then, Obama signs it.
Ironbite-and Faux Noise screams this is the end of the world.

You forgot the last step: A year or so from now this is all completely forgotten except for the occasional pundit bringing it up.

Now it'll go to the Conference--a small group of a few Representatives and a few Senators--where the differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill will get worked out. Actually now the Senate will get to put forth and debate amendments to the bill. Each of those amendments will have to be voted on. Then a final vote, which is a simple majority vote, needed to be taken. Then finally it goes to committee. After that the final reconciled bill must pass both the House and Senate. Finally to the Presidents desk.

Does anyone know of a resource that lays out the specifics of what the bill entails?

Does anyone know of a resource that lays out the specifics of what the bill entails? This might be the actual bill. At the least, it's one of the versions (helpful, I know). I do know for sure that this is the version that passed the house of reps.
