A portmanteau of Ravenous (one of my favorite movies) and Hunter: The Reckoning. It comes from my NoX days, but there weren't enough characters to put a space in, and I typoed the 'y' in. The name just kinda stuck with me thru the years.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
Yes, I'm a fan. I'm fascinated by the Jedi and the philosophical difference between them and the Sith. It happened to be the first thing that popped up in my mind when I needed a username.

One of the (many) traditions at our school is for the second years to rename the first years and give them a nickname. I got stuck with Tipex, and I liked it so much at first that a lot of people there only know me by that name. LeTipex means "The Tipex" in french. It's one of my many names on the internet, but they always have tipex in them. It's partly anonymous, not many people would recognize it, except if they went to my school.

Oh, I've been reading it as "leti-pex", which is also cool-sounding.

My user name is actually kind of racist and it happened on accident.
Chi was my nickname in high school. I actually considered changing my name to it, there for awhile. Then I met my ex and got into RP. My ex's character had the last name Shiro, so my character ended up with the last name Shiro. And even though I'm out of RP now, Chi Shiro stuck. Now, none of that is too bad unless you speak japanese. If you do you may be wondering why the onna baka is calling herself "White Power". It both amuses and disturbs me a little.

And your avatar REALLY likes tigers. Because it's petting a tiger. Yes.

A friend asked me to come up with a screenname for him, something "kinda Elvish." I came up with malendras off the top of my head. He used the account and SN precisely once, so I co-opted it for myself. I was in the process of looking for another screenname at the time anyway.

Post by Memento Mori on May 30, 2010 13:50:51 GMT -5
Memento Mori is the practice of taking pictures of people who had died. it happened mostly in the Victorian era when photography was brand new and very rare and tedious. most people back then were unable to have their pictures taken in their lifetimes, and it was considered a good way to remember someone who had passed, especially children. I have a rather large collection of Memento Mori pictures on my computer, and even two in real life that I found in antique stores. I've always been fascinated by them and the fact that people back then found it normal to pose alongside their dead sister/brother/child/whoever. I've always found it to be morbid but also kind of beautiful and sentimental. hope that doesn't make me too much of a freak.

I was undecided about what username to pick. Seriously. "Profoundly" came later and because adverbs are awesome.
