He admits they still have feelings for the same sex, and yet that to is just because we *and the APA* told them this lie about it not being a choice.

..... This is from the Letters to the Editor in today's (4-08-09) Brattleboro Reformer: .... Homosexuals are not different from anyone else except that they have an identity problem. Debate continues as to why this occurs, but most evidence indicates it's due to environmental factors from childhood through young adulthood. Science has found no reliable biological explanation for it, except that some of us are more sensitive or adventurous than others, and sexual conduct becomes addictive. ...... Marriage is for forming families and raising kids as mom and dad. Even childless couples reinforce this pattern within the extended family. There is a number of studies that show the best-adjusted children come from such homes..... I know it's to much to ask but I do still wish before people use science to support what they say, they actually take some time to find out what Science actually says. www.apa.org/pi/lgbc/publications/lgpsummary.htmlFor instance, a number of studies have shown children do better with two PARENTS. But the gender of the parents made no difference. As for comparing being gay to an addiction, that doesn't even deserve a response.

I kinda disagree with that list, Michigan i see holding out to the bitter end. There's alot of blind followers and religious nuts up here, especially after the big economy drop, all the "Pull yourselves up by the bootstraps no matter how impossible" people stayed. The only reason we don't have Republicans running the state is because, just like DC, they can't put up anything more than crap and idiots. It was either vote on the Democrat trying to hold the state together or vote on the rich guy that shafted employees for personal gain and removed business from the state

We're losing a lot of the educated people and statistically speaking, that's the group more likely to be liberal.

Now if states would also start legalizing polyamorous, incestual, and heterosexual same-sex marriages we'd be getting closer to actual equality. Why do I have the greatest feeling that you thought you were clever when you were conjuring such a response? Before you give yourself a mental pat on the back or maybe even a high-five with your asinine God Consider this: Rights are becoming ever more fundamental (err don't want to give you the wrong idea), ever more concrete in our Society; They transcend government bureaucracies, partisan politics and even goat-herding moralities. When you give certain rights to certain individual adults or groups, you can bet your sweet Jesus tattooed ass that others will expect that the same rights be given. When two consenting, loving adults want to get hitched, it is up to them, and them alone, not the state, not society, and certainly NOT depending on the OKs of some bronze-age goat herding book full of God descended, dumb, foul and contradictory moral codes. You can play Jebediah of Galile all you want at home, with your family or your community on your own time. It's your inherent right to do so. No one is trampling on them. Don't dare trample on others'

I'm still trying to figure out what heterosexual same-sex marriage is supposed to be.

I'm still trying to figure out what heterosexual same-sex marriage is supposed to be. Is that when two people of the same sex marry but never have sexual relations, they just go out and cheat on each other with members of the opposite sex? I don't quite see why they would get married in that case...but hey, whatever makes them happy....

Yeah, a lot are pulling up stakes, quite a few once the big 3 shook under the economy load and the housing market crash. Before I left McDonald's we had a lot of people applying that listed Form and GM as their most recent employment. I've worked with a few at Vlasic as well. Last year they had to start hiring on staff right at the beginning of the green season, this year they have people begging for employment, but most everyone came back from last year. I guess it's considered normal to see some people scavenging garbage cans and dumpsters for cans or food in big cities, it's becoming a large issue here in our little town in the country. Last year before it got cold there was a little tent city along the bike path out in the woods. I hope they all found shelter during the winter. I managed to stay where I am by begging the owners on my knees Ok, I'm done de-railing now
