Today I found an unopened bottle of beer someone discarded in my yard. Bud Lite with lime, so I think they made the right choice in throwing it out. Maybe I can use it for lighter fluid or something.
So what about you?

So what about you? OK, let's officially derail this sucka! The point of this thread is now to cop to the weirdest, oddest, or most disturbing thing you have ever found or stumbled upon accidentally. In 1997, in a parking lot in Bellvue, Illinois, the sandman found a pair of feet sticking out of the bushes. Human feet. Human feet that were attached to human legs....but nothing else. Yes, I had found a pair of severed human legs. The police were called, but they never did discover whose legs they were. Weirrrrrd.

I once found a dead possum in a plastic bag in a shopping cart at the Wal Mart shopping cart return.
It wasn't fun.

Someone once left a sun-shaped balloon that played "Don't Worry, Be Happy" if you slapped it on my boyfriend's car. Apparently the same people also left used condoms on someone else's car. It was rather surreal.

When I was 14, I worked at an IHOP and naturally pulled all the crap duties like cleaning the bathroom. One day, I was cleaning the men's bathroom when I found that the trash was completely full of paper towels, all of which were soaked in blood. Plus there was a substantial amount of blood pooled in bottom, and blood all over the floor around the toilet and in the grout. And when I say "substantial," I mean probably half a liter or more. I wish I knew what had happened there.

I found a nearly full box of Kosher Mint Patties behind a toilet in the women's washroom at the theater I worked for. I also found a pile of chicken bones, also behind a toilet, different stall, different day.

How are we supposed to top a story about finding severed legs?
My friend and I once found a dildo and some lube at the park. I also discovered a tampon hidden under a table, and on another occasion, a dirty diaper when I worked as a waitress. People are disgusting.

I'm not going to eat mint patties. They're nasty. Oh, same job: Whilst cleaning one of the theatres, found a cup on the floor which turned out to be completely filled with piss. In the lighting and because it was so full, the liquid was invisible. I bent to pick it up as if it were, as it looked, empty. ... >_> Yeah. It wasn't. It was still warm. ... I hope whoever did that gets SUCH a smack.

I once had to help the vet chop up a dead goat fetus and pull it out of its mother piece by piece.
I hate having goats. I think evolution is trying to kill the things off but we humans keep breeding them.

In evolutionary terms, a species being useful to humans is pretty much winning the lottery. It virtually guarantees their survival even as we wipe out thousands of others.

The thing is, they get sick and die so easily. We've had dozens get sick, and only one has pulled through. Event the vet told us if a goat gets sick, it's almost useless to do anything besides put it down. It doesn't even matter what's wrong with them. A cold is almost as likely to kill them as pneumonia.
Luckily, since we've switched to Nigerian dwarf goats, we've had much better luck with their health. Pygmy goats die if the wind blows on them wrong, it seems.

Well I remember wondering into large mounds in Cambodia. You can figure out what they were yourself.

If you're not making that up then I think you have won this thread, as that's going to be pretty fucking hard to top. It certainly trumps anything I've ever found, the weirdest of which must be a used condom...yards away from my primary school. Technically I didn't find this one, but when I was a very young child (somewhere between 5 and 8 years old) I did see a dead body lying in the street in Peter's Hill in Belfast. The police were attending the scene and covered the body with a white sheet. He was an overweight middle aged man, I think he'd had a heart attack or something.

I saw a grandmother at another table just up and die at an Italian resturant once. First time I'd ever seen a fresh dead body. Let's see. Weirdest thing I've ever found? Hmmm... I found a bloody pacificer at work once. That was kind of disgusting and weird. Also, I've found all kinds of shit along the road I live on. It's amazing what people throw out they're windows. Cardboard, beer cans, underwear/diapers, socks a couple of times, cigaratte butts, glass, etc. Oh, I almost forgot, I did one time find the discarded uncensored covers to a ton of porno videos someone had bought in the trash dumpster at my work. No, I didn't go dumpster diving for them.
