Hmm... My post might have been premature since the wording in their website is a bit unclear. They refer to the campaign in the past tense but don't directly announce quitting it. They might be just whining about the reception they've got. Oh, and the Lutheran Church has announced that they'll reconsider the financial support they are giving to some of the organizations involved in the campaign. I wonder if this is genuine dislike towards them or just an attempt to minimize the PR damage. My guess is that it's both. The main thing is that the organizations are facing actual consequences of their actions. Well, the real reason behind reconsidering the financing might be the finances in a first place, as according to eroakirkosta.fi the number of people resigning the church has been above the avarage for few days now. And yes, I confess that I check the statistics every week *waiting for separation of church and state*.

Some people at my work (or their actions/lack of action) really make me constantly re-think if I even want to work there (If we happen to share a shift, that is) And some of the customers do that too, like the ones, that look insulted when they have to wait in line for their turn, have to sign something or show their id's (as if it would be me making the rules or anything!). And then the most annoying ones! Usually middle aged men who can clearly see, that I'm already serving one customer behind other counter, but still somehow act, like idiots! Whistling (like calling for a dog kind of whistle) or tapping your credit card against the counter while pointing your finger at me won't help! It just doesn't! Just believe me and quit doing it! And yes, I might get less for an hour that you do, but shit happens! It still does not mean that you're somehow above me and have right for your terrible attitude towards person you've never met before. TL;DR: Stupid people

The car turning up isn't that unusual, though they usually find it sooner. Ah, joy riding. Well, there was heavy snowfall few days after it was taken and now that the snow finally starts to melt and the licence plate number was revealed the owner of the call was finally contacted. It was on a parking lot of a small "shopping center" (never shop there) and we actually had to call 112 and wait for over an hour there for police to show up and collect some evidence and all that before anything...

Our stolen car was found. After two months. In one piece (If you don't count few broken parts that have clearly been result of reckless driving). Near our home. ^_____^

It's been snowing all day, so my hopes of seeing this super moon aren't that high. Maybe I'll get to see the next one

Proboards are actually de-censored recently. Not that it matters though, I do know how to use a proxy, you see. I get your point about cultural difference and w/e, but still, talking aloud (on the phone) in a library is probably something frowned upon universally. It's naughty, breaking the local laws you see And yes, it's something that everyone hates, Loud Teens (and loud everyone) talking(on their cell phones) in library. It happens everywhere and that is something, that not only Asian people are quilty of. I'm just wondering why, if you actually do your studying at the library and are supposed to do so, the rules aren't enforced by someone? Aren't there any librarians around? Aren't there enough disapproving looks and meaningfull sighs by other studying teens?

Seriously though, her complains are totally legitimate, she shouldn't have phrased it in a causally-racist way. I can't speak for other Asian countries out there, but mainland Chinese on the whole are probably some of the most boorish, unetiquetted people on the planet. Says someone, who obviously isn't using the internet that the normal mainland Chinese have to deal with... Normal internet around there wouldn't allow you to get in to these boards (same goes for youtube, FB and ... basicly everything) you know. Naughty you. And now to the embarrassing part... I kind of have to agree with this troll here. They (Chinese in this case) seem really, really, really rude people to someone, who comes from different culture. BUT on the other hand (as a someone, who's finally getting over their exhange experience) I bet that you (yes, still talking to this troll here) can also be seen as rude, uneducated in etiquet and all that shit, in most of the places on this planet even if you're putting up your best behaviour and acting the way that would make your mother proud back at home.

Stones and actually having them. Inside you. Making pain and puking and all that shit happening. I hate this. I hate taking medication and I hate that I have to get new appointment with the doctor (and still get some more lab tests done) for consultation. I hate it, hate it, hate it! I hate in advance that I need to plan for long sickleave, think about my choises of hospitals where I might want it* done (private or public, that's the question! [and yes, I'm thankful of having this choise to make]) and when (in case I'm to choose private, which seems more likely at the moment).
*by it I'm meaning necessary (according to the doctor i saw last sunday, x-ray doctor i also saw last sunday, my mother, my husband and all the others who know something about what's going on) removal of MY gallbladder.

They are... being hilarious again. Or then it is just me (and the pain medication, GOOD pain medication) but anyways, I thought that I should share this thread here. The U.S. has no president!Few funny points from it: After catching the news on FOX this pm I can't even be appalled--it's so past that. We have no president. The imposter in the WH is either playing some sport as rumor has it has time to do a Presidential order to make illegal aliens legal or a Presidential order to empower him to give money bankrupt (read Democrat) states.
I'M READY FOR A KING!!!!!! The King of the Universe! KING OF THE UNIVERSE! WOOOO! .... Why do I get the late -80's/early -90's wibes from that? Maybe the morning cartoons I saw as a kid, dunno xD During the first two days of Japan's disaster he was playing golf. Beyond inappropriate.
[/b] And when disastrous happenings hit closer to home, I remember your former president being out and about and doind stuff... oh wait, I don't. Sorry, my bad. He is detached. He is only a Community Organizer and has no leadership skills or desires. [/b] Wait, last time you were whining and moaning about him wanting to be the new Hitler or something like that, how dares he, speaking to students and all that. Making them to be his small army or something... Wow! I didn't know that obama would not defend our country if we were attacked. If he won't defend the USA, just imagine what he would do if Israel was attacked!! (I'm sure nothing) Thankfully the Lord is in charge and Israel is his chosen people. [/b] So it's now United states of... Israel? And no, I do not mean to offend anyone with this, besides that rapturite behind the statement... Yes, it's true that we no longer have a President, and it's sad because this was once a great nation. Now it's being taken over by the illegals, the homosexuals, the atheists, the Muslims, and everyone else who goes against the Word of God. Obama is just sitting back and letting it happen, and enabling it even. We are no longer the Christian nation we once were, what we need is another Reagan but I don't see one on the horizon. What I fear most is Obama getting re-elected and in his second term will be even worse than his first, because he can plow his liberal agenda through without a re-election to worry about... it would not surprise me one bit if Obama declared Marshall Law and declared himself President for life... but I hope we are long gone by then. The only President I recognize is Jesus Christ and he is coming soon.. come quickly, Lord Jesus! Get us out of here!! [/b] First you want one kind of president and then, on the same post even!, you are saying that you only want you god? And how dare those not-believing-and-living-like-me-kind-of-people live and believe the way that they feel comfortable (you know, within a reason) and want some basic humanrights to go with that! And then you just want to get out. Deside what tou want already! Ah, that was about it. Sorry. Had to post this. Time seems to go all funny and still one can get bored when on sickleave and on pain meds.

Does having a day off from work count as a good happening? If so, then yes. But today was a good day too. I was able to do my work independently without asking for help all the time (yay!) and one of the regular customers (male) gave us a box of chocolate for Women's Day! ^______^ I'm not saying that I _LOVE_ my job and want to do it 'til I retire, but some customers just make the days (and nights) at that place worth doing it

Yay, raspberries, my favourite And as sad as it it, this actually doubles all the happy b-day wishes I've gotten this day (Not counting FB - haven't logged in there in over a month and don't feel like doing it either) so thanks everyone, really And only about 7 more hours to go before I can return to MY cake (stupid rules, stupid nurses stealing ALL my blood tomorrow morning, stupid hunger, stupid me for not eating all that cake before 19:00!)

Today I slept well first time in 4 days ^^. For at least 8 hours and best part of it was that my hubby was at home (having migraine, poor him ) and slept next to me ^^. Nightshifts are fine and nice and all that sh*t as they pay you bit more per hour, but it still sucks to sleep alone (or try) at daytime, so getting to sleep next to hubby _really_ was a big deal for me. PLUS I can always steal his warm blanket if I have accidently dropped/kicked mine off the bed and am too tired to try and find it.
