If "orient" is archaic nowadays, "occident" is probably something that's typically confused for some sort of denture-cleaning product. (Case in point: this site's spell-checker doesn't even recognize "occident" as a real word.)

I wasn't really arguing that it was offensive, just horribly archaic. I mean...the only "oriental" I'm exposed to on anywhere near a regular basis is in ramen.
That video does look like it was either filmed with an old set of soap opera equipment, or it was shot during the 80s. You'd think with all their Scamming For Jesus (TM), they could afford something a bit more...current.

I don't know if his language was racist, but the sentiment he expressed certainly was. Reminds me of that Demonbusters site that warns that items from Africa may be demonic. Just things from Africa in general. They've apparently got demons crawling out of the woodwork over there.
