OK, so far God has called the following people to run for president: Herman CainMichele Bachmanand Rick Perry through Anita.And two of them have made references to Exodus. I'm wondering two things: 1) why does anyone believe this dumbfuckery, and 2) what do the fundies make of this? Do they think that God called all of them? That two are liars? What? |

Actually, scratch that. If you vote for ANY of them, you'll go to hell. Because all True Christians (TM) know that Ron Paul is the only candidate approved by God Almighty to be 100% logic-proof, 24/7.

Every religion claims to be the One True Path. All also share the same, absolute lack of external support for this affirmation. It requires a great deal of delusion for a believer to hold their faith as knowledge and their rejection of other beliefs as rational. Claiming divine support exploits the exact same kind of delusion. So no, it doesn't surprise me that the old "God with us" trick is still working on gnostic theists. |

It's quite simple really. When two or more of them lose the GOP nomination, they'll just say that although God called them to run, he didn't necessarily mean they'd win. Sure, that raises more questions than it answers, but since when have fundies EVER thought things through?
