I litterally grew up watching Star Trek. Random side note: You posted an image of your daughter in another thread a while back. I didn't get a chance to say this then, so I'll say it now: Your daughter is freaking adorable. Awww... well I think so too. Thanks. She lost her first tooth yesterday, much excitment about the imminent arrival of dental related eldar.

I was five when The Phantom Menace came out. I had the hugest crush on Anakin. I think I saw the first three round that time, too, but I was too little to appreciate what was going on. I liked the first one vaguely, but couldn't really understand it. Second one is a black hole in my memory. Third one, I remember the gold bikini, being terrified of the carbonite, and the last scene with Luke being electrocuted.
I honestly preferred Disney movies at that age.

You know the funny thing is I really don't remember how old I was when I first saw Star Wars, I only remember not being afraid of Vader, instead I was more scared of Tarkin, but that may be because he's just a normal human minus any good whatsoever in him. I thought Han was a major hottie... ;D. Since you're girl is 5, I think she'll be able to handle the movie fine.

Forgot to add: I was 2 when Episode 4 came out in Theaters...and my mother really wanted to see it. According to family legend, it was the first time they saw me sit for more than 5 minutes at a time, and I fell asleep about the 3/4 point. I've actually seen all 6 in the theater, now that I think about it.

I think I saw the first Star Wars movie (that being episode 4) when I was eight. I had long enough of an attention span to sit through the whole thing and I've loved the Star Wars universe ever since. That being said, I like Star Trek too, but not as much.

Maybe after I grow my hair out and can put it in the long braid she has. I've seen cosplay with shorter hair. I think you could pull it off. Ironbite-not that I'm encouraging you or anything
