Right wing authoritarians tend to do that. They're all about "law and order" until it's one of their own guys doing something wrong, and then, circle the fucking wagons! If anything, it'll only make the most hardcore Cain followers support him even more, even as everyone else abandons him. Not that it matters, I'd vote for a dead cat over him, regardless of the scandal, for the same reason I'd never vote for one of the Koch brothers.

Its kind of sickening. I was staking this whole thing with a grain of salt until Cain starting making comments along the lines of "It was only x many claims!" and releasing a statement that was major victim blaming. Fuck you, if you can't respect half the population you have no respect from me.
