Yes, we know, the idea that you should try to treat other people with respect and avoid using slurs is beyond the grasp of a troll. And there's a point where it goes too far. Some people need to lighten up and quit taking themselves (or their beliefs) so seriously. Everything has a point where it goes to far. That doesn’t mean we should stop using their respective terms. The problem is that the term “politically correct” has picked up a nasty connotation where people tend to think it only refers to the practice when it is going to far.

There's also an argument that since you're using products from one or more corporations, your argument is automatically invalid. Since as we all know, the dilemma is untamed corporate greed or destruction of corporations.

I read a response on TIME Magazine asking about the OWS protestor's majors, mainly if it's not in Computer Science or the like that is high in demand.

Depends on what is being used for fuel in the burner versus what it was burning on the outside. Regardless of the temperature, a flame confined to a burner is generally less destructive and easier to direct to productive purpose than a wildfire.

4th one has a point. Both are at fault.

Some people need to lighten up and quit taking themselves (or their beliefs) so seriously. This is much rarer that you think. Essentially the campain against political correctness is an attempt to make conservative political correctness superior (while making racism, bigotry and so on acceptable, or even laudable: See Limbaugh, Rush).

4th one has a point. Both are at fault. Because we all know the people in DC never pay attention to what happens in NYC. It's a vapid criticism that ignores the actual point of the movement. OWS's complaints are no less valid in NYC than they would be in DC.

That the protests are fake and are funded by George Soros & ACORN, blah blah blah

Freedom must include freedom of speech in my opinion. I fail to see how this is relevant towards anything.

4th one has a point. Both are at fault. True to an extent, but: if I hand you a gun without knowing who you are, that makes me irresponsible; if you then shoot someone dead, that doesn't make me a killer.

I fail to see how this is relevant towards anything. Political correctness censors free speech. Sticks and stones. You seem to be under the impression that there is a law. You can say stupid shit, just expect to be called out and ostracized as a bigot when you do so. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from criticism.
