My mom got shingles. I have never had chicken pox. I was one of the first in my area to get the vaccine. And the first with my anomalies to get it.

Why cant we just push any anti-vaccinating parent backwards into a woodchipper and be done with it?

Might work if you told them that it was an organic woodchipper not owned by big pharma.

It's one thing for a small child to get chicken pox--as long as you contract it as a small child, it generally doesn't cause health problems.
It's quite another to deliberately force the child to get chicken pox just so you never have to vaccinate zir.

Why cant we just push any anti-vaccinating parent backwards into a woodchipper and be done with it? Seems like it would be bad for the woodchipper.

Got rid of it at about 5. Was not fun because it sprang up at the boardwalk, with some sores appearing in a not-so-fun-and-quite-itchy private place. I've heard of the pox parties and getting it out of the way early. THAT made sense to me as a matter of practicality if they could be safe about it. The vaccine makes much more sense tho, provided it isn't one of the ones that wears off after 7-15 years that might get skeevy. I dunno. Mailing lolipops is just...stupid lunacy. These anti-vaxers need to... can we "vaccinate" them with cyanide?

I thought Wykked was female. I am female. The kid I hugged was a boy. I turned out bisexual. So... I guess I got the "incomplete gh3y"?

Why cant we just push any anti-vaccinating parent backwards into a woodchipper and be done with it? Then I'd be an orphan.

Here's an idea! We declare war on all disease, and then we can charge them with treason!

I don't get what it is with these sorts of parents. One of the anti-vaccers on my FB just said milestones for kids are just ways to make kids who don't meet them feel inferior.
And you know doctors who recommend against co-sleeping? Apparently they do this just so make babies upset and to get them to cry. Yes, one of the parents said that.

I'm surprised none of these idiots have accidentally crushed their kids yet--you know, the reason WHY doctors don't approve of co-sleeping.

The parents claim there is some sort of sense that lets them throw not to thrash around in their sleep when they have an infant.
