The U.S. Navy has decreed, in it's infinite wisdom, to block FSTD.net. Reason: "racism and hate"
Fortunately, Rapture Ready is still accessible.

Somebody in power has some rather screwed-up priorities of judgment, I'd say. EDIT TO ADD: Oh, and it's now blocked at my workplace, too, for the same reasons. Drat. ~David D.G.

I'm just glad that the message boards are no longer on the same site as the mainpage --- otherwise I couldn't still come here so readily. ~David D.G.

You could always try a proxy... they probably wouldn't take too kindly to that, though.

Unsurprising that Websense would make such an idiotic call. When I was in England for a foreign exchange program, the school's computers filtered everything through the software. There were pages banned for no other reason than the fact that they contained the word sex. They even block sex ed sites. It's not like the teens at the schools who use it could possibly have any use for those sites, right?

Ha! That's why I always set up my own proxies. Also, it's odd, the net-nanny software at my highschool blocked the Church of Satan site...but not sites dedicated to defeating the very software that limited my surfing. Someone is an idiot, and it isn't me.

Someone is an idiot, and it isn't me. Most aren't that dumb. When I finally got sick of Websense blocking half the internet, I Googled "proxy servers" and just kept trying each link until I found one on page 5 that wasn't blocked.

Well, I'm almost certain our school's resident "IT expert" could've been bested by any of the students there (myself notwithstanding). That and he was a pompous ass who needed his balls smashed with a hammer.

Just out of curiosity, Distind, have you had a chance to argue at all with Websense?
