Ridiculous and judgemental: Yes. Fundie: not so much. Mainpage worthy: definitely not.
Jackassery and fundieness usually go hand-in-hand, but presence of one does not necessarily prove presence of the other. I think the person you quoted is definitely making a jackass out of himself in front of an audience, but its not to the point where I'd consider it fundie. If he'd said "Suicide is the cowards way out. If they survived, I'd personally beat them to death myself. Sources(): suffer not a coward to live" --- then yes, that would be very fundie, provided the author isn't just trolling.
Fundie is more than just being wrong or saying something stupid: it needs a kick of the flamboyant, enthusiastic kind of bigotry, ignorance, and downright silliness that usually comes with an extreme lack of rationality.

Very stupid, but frankly it's an opinion, at worst a stupid one.
I wouldn't say it's main page worthy, and unless we have some corpse rights activists around I don't think we're going to have much opposition to that.

I'd have to add that, unfortunately, a lot of people think that way. I used to be quite scornful of suicide myself.
