An obnoxiously loud representative of capitalism run amok has died. The guy had all the charisma of an air raid siren.

I genuinely loved Billy Mays. I'm so sad that he's gone. This has been such a terrible week.

I really didn't find the guy obnoxious, just loud. People have to deal with the sound of freight trains as well. It's sad.
Vince the Douche-shammy will fill the void, unfortunately.

In spite of what people say of Mays sales style, he was a cultural icon and will be missed.

What's with all the death lately? It's getting tedious.

And now with Billy Mays dead I feel as if I have nothing to live for. 'Cause Vince is nothing compared to Billy and never will be.

There goes "Pitchmen."
Wonder what Discovery will use to fill that slot now.
If it's not shows dying, it's hosts dying.

I declare June 28th Billy Mays Day and I don't care what any of you people think. I'm a fan of his and I think he was one of the most entertaining men on the planet.

So far this is the only "celebrity" death that has upset me. Sure, he was loud, obnoxious, and sometimes annoying, but he was awesome. He knew this and he didn't fucking care. I will miss his commercials.
May his zombie goast forever haunt Vince Offer.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
Billy Mays will live on in our hearts, and in our oxi-clean.
ANYWAY, I HEARD THAT 4CHAN IS TURNING MONDAYS INTO MAYSDAYS, WHERE YOU HAVE TO TYPE EVERYTHING IN CAPS TO COMMEMORATE THE LOSS OF THIS GOD OF A MAN!

I grew up with all of these names, except perhaps for Mays, but strangely, I have a soft spot for even him. He was loud, bellicose, obnoxious, perhaps, but there was a strange sort of honesty in it. He didn't seem to take himself very seriously. You got the impression he was a regular sort, someone you could probably down a Newcastle with. Just don't let him hit the restroom and leave you with the check.
I actually teared up when Johnny Carson died four years ago. And I felt the same way when Ed McMahon died. Maybe it's silly, but a little part of my past died with each one of them.
I'll miss them all.
This month has seen the end of an era.

May he rest forever in the Builder's Paradise. Rest, Billy, you've earned it.
