Did you mom ever dress you in old style clothes or is there a picture from the fair of you in old style clothes? Okay...I haven't been keeping close attention, but WTF. Can someone be nice to the resident retard and explain what this has to do with anything?

lonelocust ok the next time you have a dream like this i want you to if you will to look at the books. one should stand out more than the others or a set of them. I would give a description of what i am looking for but wouldn't want you to think i subliminally made that happen or whatever excuse there would be. remember all that you can with the book or books and with the oriental rug lift it up and see underneath. Also one other thing is there a room with a fireplace? and if so in that room is there a large mirror? if so take one of the fire place tools and break the mirror and tell me what is behind it. Hmm, it's almost as if I had addressed this. But I can't seem to think what I said... Oh wait, yes I can. Like I said, it's just a recurring theme. And as I said, I can't "explore these rooms" in the way you want. I cannot call the dreams up on command. And earlier... And before you ask, while I am occasionally capable of lucid dreaming (usually I wake up once I realize I'm dreaming and try), I can call up neither this particular dream theme (it's not a specific place or a truly recurring dream as it's not the same but just similar occurrences in multiple dreams) nor the ability to lucid dream, so I can't walk through at your behest looking for fountains or whatever. I feel a disturbance in the force... as if a million voices suddenly cried out with reasonable information and conversation, and were retroactively silenced because somebody doesn't have the reading comprehension skills of a fourth grader. *sigh* Please go read my posts again, and this time, make some vague attempt to read what I said. I know you won't, and I'm apparently feeling masochistic by continuing to post in this thread. It is JUST A RECURRING THEME. It is not what the dreams are about. I don't "go to" the same place. You are like a brick of concrete when it comes to listening. Are you coming on to me? I already said much earlier that I am done discussing my mother and her delusions. This is not up for discussion. Do not ask again.

Also far too easy to make into an innuendo. At this point, I'm not sure the innuendo would be WRONG.

lonelocust and all here i guess
the meaning behind the liking of old clothes could be ancestral. Or it could tie you to a fond memory of maybe going to a fair and having a pic taken. Or if lets say you are wearing 80's style clothes it could be something that happened back then. Not saying the clothes are demonic but that they would tie the person to the era. I have dealt with older women that they had dreams about them younger and wearing clothes they wore as a child and were able to tell what time period they were dreaming about and be able to remember the trauma that had happened. i don't mean to scratch old wounds open with your mom and i apologize.i know that you are tired of this thread so you can leave if you want ( not that you had to stay or anything) The only questions i would have for you since you are not interested in salvation are deep seated questions about you and your moms relationship. Since this is a no then i have nothing. It was really cool meeting you though. Keep my information in your contacts if you want in case later on in life you feel you need to get over this pain.

...soooooo, are you saying that people who like to wear star wars clothing are tied to the "Star Wars era"?
Or how about '50s clothes? Perhaps if I were to like wearing cheetah skins then I'd be tied to the Stone Age?

So now you're analysing my fashion preferences? Just for the halibut?
So, even if the reason that I prefer styles that are sort of old-fashioned was "ancestral" or because I had a picture taken at a fair, what exactly would that have to do with anything at all or demons in particular?

Keep my information in your contacts if you want in case later on in life you feel you need to get over this pain. Ego much? I can't speak for her, but from what I can observe (from what LITTLE I can observe) she seems to be dealing with shit pretty damn well without your god-infested "help". And again, about the clothing, WTF?! Leg warmers and gaudy tees will make her flashback to her childhood or something?

Keep my information in your contacts if you want in case later on in life you feel you need to get over this pain. Sorry, I apparently didn't even keep reading because I was so baffled by what my fashion sense had to do with anything. How do you manage to have such low reading comprehension? Do you really think I've called on you to "get over pain"? I do not have any (long-term) pain that I'm trying to get over. As is normal, there are of course things in life that I'm sad or wistful about, and I'm good at dealing with those things, moving past them, and keeping the good parts of the experiences around to enrich me as a person and inform future decisions. How can you hear a person say "yep, I'm pretty happy, and pretty good at dealing with unhappy things when they happen" and conclude that there's some sort of pain they're trying to get over? And how do you not realize how incredibly narcissistic it is to think that you and you alone could help someone get over pain that they are not admitting to?

I totally had better fashion sense than that even as a child in the 80s. Though I might have had a side ponytail now and then. And crimped hair. But it wasn't really crimped; I just let it out after having it in tight french braids for a day or two. DON'T JUDGE ME! Off-one-shoulder tops are OK, too. SOMETIMES!

lonelocust
You summed it all up in the last sentence of not admitting to the pain. there are deep issues that you bottle up and think that you are getting over them or got over them but you didn't THEY"RE BOTTLED UP. Lots of people who bottle things up end up blowing there top later in life. I'm not saying i'm the only one who can help you but i am the one that no matter how much crap you dish out and no matter how much you deny things and try to act like it's ok i'm the one who knows it isn't. Maybe on the surface but not deep down inside.

you stated these rooms are not what the dreams are about that it was just a theme. ( if i read it right) so what are the dreams about then?
