The sad thing is that he's probably disappointed that it's not Lone doing the poking. That's only because he hasn't experienced my poking before. MWAHAHAHAHA. You're getting me hot over here. I don't dream about anything but screwing up in school anymore...and even then, I'm lucky to remember my dream(s) maybe once every 3 months. This last dream, I failed my ASL exam because I kept getting distracted and kept wandering away from my desk. |

I had a dream last night I was in a dentist's office and some guy was getting yelled at by the dentist for fucking his dog  I... I got nothing. Other than I'm willing to blame that one on demons, because I don't really want to know how some guy getting chewed out for fucking his dog would have invaded my dreams otherwise (too much time on /b/ no doubt) |

Dead pan what happened at 12 Right, right, the power of God (who didn't do jackshit for anyone in my family until, surprise surprise, they helped themselves). And bwuh? I've forgotten the context of this question, hang on...OH, yeah. Well, for one thing, I got my "ladies' monthly" a few months before I turned 12; for another, all hell broke loose when I was 11/newly 12 (my dad was degenerating into total disability, my mom's health problems were suspected to be terminal, 9/11 happened, I was discovering that I was attracted to boys AND girls, etc.) So as far as I can remember, that's when I started believing (quite literally, in fact) that I had demons or at least one demon inside me; I was firmly convinced that no human could be so dark and evil and disgusting, and that I was in fact a demon sent to haunt and terrorize my family. ...thanks for reminding me of all that, by the way; I was quite happy having ignored it. Nnnnno, it was a bad FMA joke. You know, "equivalent exchange" and those funky ass alchemy circles and stuff. |

I got rid of my biggest mental handicap when I chucked my invisible friend and actually got the help I needed. You're hurting people, and I hope some day you learn that. |

I have one nugget to add to this thread:
There is no type of person more impotent than somebody who thinks they have the truth without going through the investigation—if you think that you can find the truth so casually, you are already irrelevant to the people who actually know what they are doing.
Seriously, do you honestly believe that you know more about the treatment of mental disorders than a professional psychiatrist? Or know more about evolution than a professional biologist? Or know more about teeth than a professional dentist?

Sometimes I instead say "And then I found five dollars" or "And then there was a great explosion, and everyone was forced to live underground" or "This has been pointless story number 99,824." |
