As far as women wearing men's clothing is concerned I just want to add that an attractive woman wearing a man's suit is fucking hot. Never mind that shy of a burka it's one of the most concealing types of clothing around. But, I'll be the first to say that the whole 'girly-girl' thing doesn't do it for me. Inclined to agree. Then again, I tend to like people close to the middle of the gender spectrum, anyway. Tomboys, femmey men, so that explains my predisposition.

I too am frequently told I dress like a guy. I always wear jeans and t-shirts. And sweatpants. As a college student, I feel it is my personal duty to wear sweats as much as possible. I'm also on the short side, so I tend to walk the length off my jeans.
I would rather be comfortable than trendy. My shoes, for example, are the ugliest things ever. But they are also the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Plus, they were only eight dollars. So I wear them.

I'm lucky to have a job that is pretty lax (sp?) when it comes to dress code. I work in claims for an insurance company, so I just sit in front of a computer all day. I wear ratty t-shirts, hoodies, and the same pants everyday because I just don't care. I wanna be comfortable, not stylish. Plus, it's just work. I'm not here to impress anyone. Now, when I go out, I dress like a chick.

My dress sense makes me look liek a gay 1920's banker. Think trilby, waistcoat, blazer, umbrella and purple shirt. Occasionally I also go in for the whole preppy look.

If I saw someone dressed like a gay 1920s banker, I would want to get to know that person. I would think they had a fun personality.
And I'm not a fan of the preppy look.

Well I only go preppy when I get bored of people asking me "Why the fuck are you dressed like that?", it's the least offensive fashion I can wear and still blend in.

I was born male. I act male (in a geekish way). But I never particularly felt male. The concept of having a gender, separate from a sex, never made sense to me. Not meaning it's wrong of course, just that I don't understand.
I mean, if I had a gender, how would I know what it was?
I guess makes me Adnrogyne, but only in the sense that agnostic is a religion.

I'm not sure how much gender awareness there is until something's actually wrong. When I try and explain to most people the idea of an identity out of sync with their body, they can't comprehend.

Born male, though saw the light and realized nature played an incredibly cruel joke on me, and now female (and I love girls ;D. I guess you could call me pre-op... I am _not_ afraid of people knowing, and i'm fully out in my RL. Be afraid!

Born female, perfectly happy the way I am though I'm not what you'd consider "traditionally" feminine; and girly-girls annoy me.
I usually wear jeans and sweatshirts and things. I think I've worn a dress maybe twice in the last 5 years and I don't like them much. I would just about rather die then wear high heels. I don't wear makeup (though I do wear earrings, and sometimes a necklace).

I'm sorry, I think some people have way too much time on their hands. Cisgender? Really? Will you please elaborate? What's your actual objection? I don't understand much Latin but this is at least basically true: Trans = Latin for "across", "through" or "between". Cis = Latin for "on this side" or "the near side". The opposite of trans is cis. It makes sense that if someone whose gender is different from their natal sex is transgendered, someone whose gender matches their natal sex can be called cisgendered. The English language is all the better for having a word for it.
