didja hear that romney is the front runner in 2012Cool. It might be interesting to have a non christian in the White House. Seriously, If he gets in I might consider moving to Milan . And don't think I wouldn't, I moved to get away from Kennet and Howard. You dont think the state of italian politics is any better, do you? Good ol' silvio is one of the most hilariously corrupt dudes in the business There is something very relaxing about being an expat and not having a say or a care about the local politics. As long as the place is remotely democratic and they aren't rounding up and burning people I don't care.

Well I hope the GOP follows at least one thing Rush said, that is not to change. We all now thing that don't change tend to get left behind, so I have no problem with that.

I saw little bits of it. It was basically his normal radio show plus a live "laugh track" of whipped up fans. Pretty funny, really. I listen to his show now and then to see what the latest wad of crap is going to be about. You can bet it shows up in the Republican talking points.
I just wish Mike Steele hadn't retracted what he said about Limbaugh being an "entertainer." Have some balls, Steele.

He's just an Uncle Tom, the Repugs wouldn't have put him up there if he was anything less.

What cracked me up was Rush complaining about people saying he couldn't say he wanted the President to fail. Sure, you can say it. It just makes you a monstrous hypocrite. Which, granted, is nothing new for Rush.

I notice how the paleo/ambi/neo-cons almost universally recruit for the opposition whenever they start grandstanding.

Rush Limbaugh does not realize The Reagan "Epoch" (my term) is over. He stated that blatantly in his speech. He then made a misstatement that Liberals think we are still in the Roosevelt Era. Really, that ended in 1980, and the shadow of Reagan faded last November.
Also, he compared his "I hope he fails" comment to his hope that Kurt Warner and The Cardinals would, and did, lose, - confirming that Conservatives think of politics as a spectator's sport. He doesn't realize that fewer people think of recent changes in politics that way, lately.
They think that they'll restart the Nineties in 2010, although that could depend upon what will happen from now and until nineteen months or so.
They should realize that Obama is not Bill Clinton and realize their best chance for The White House is sometime after Obama's successor is elected. The chance at successfully getting back Congress soon is even less.
Rush is too big, in more ways than one, to realize that the ground beneath him has shifted. He needs to think about retirement in the next few years, but he signed a big contract, and he seems too committed. He'll always have his audience, but it won't be the same as when Bill Clinton was in office.

When that lard ass was heaving up and down in his black pimp shirt, he looked like he had an orgasm there and then. The man is the most disgusting human being I have seen in a long time.
Are there not a single republican with a spine? Someone should tell Rush to shut the fuck up, he is not in the leadership of the party, he does not speak for the party and that he is only a sleazy pill popping drug addicted talk show clown. But then again, have you ever met a republican with a spine?

It makes you a blithering idiot as well. Still, nothing new for Rush. That, too. It's idiotic to want Obama to fail. It was idiotic to want Bush to fail, if anyone actually did. If Obama fails, the country fails. What we need in this country right now is team players, and Rush is rallying people to the opposite attitude.

Best part is now Rush was going after Steele. All the talking heads, Coulter, Hannity and other are coming to Rushs aid.
