Something I remembered. Anyone ever hear of "re-badging?" This is a situation to where one company makes a vehicle but another company sells it under their badge. While it sometimes happens between fellow American car brands (such as the GMC Savannah and the Chevy Astro being the same thing), it just as often happens between an American car brand and a foreign one (such as the Dodge Ram 50 actually being made by Mitsubishi and occasionally having Mitsubishi logos on the keys). So that makes it even harder to know where what was manufactured barring the window signs at the dealership. never heard of it

Suzuki Swift = Chev Sprint = Pontiac Firefly = Geo Metro Compare whats on a Toyota lot to what's on a chev lot, they're the same cars (Daiwoo) just rebranded. It's becoming really popular. Things come off of a Chinese assembly line and just get different brand stickers.

Remeber the big pet food scare last year? How many brands were involved? They all came out of the same factory in Ontario, but were put in different labels.
And sky, instead of just saying "honest truth" try explaining things.

My family hasn't bought American in about 15 years, and they change cars every 4 years or so, so that's really saying a lot. Mine's not quite on its last legs yet, but I'm trading it in for a Smart car. It's cute, safe, efficient, and it's the only German car I can afford.
