Until you dig deeper and realize that it's all a ruse and christians are still the bad guys. Unless you believe that Christians operate under some sort of hive mind, it's a little silly to think that this particular lot are specifically there to generate some good PR for their religion (actually, it's silly either way, but you get the point). Don't get me wrong, I have a very low opinion of Christians in general. Just saying a few of them genuinely don't hate gays. |

Don't get me wrong, I have a very low opinion of Christians in general. Just saying a few of them genuinely don't hate gays. I actually find gays a wee bit too harsh on this particular group. But still I find the whole thing amusing nonetheless, especially since I don't have anything to do with either party. |

Read the links provided, it's a gesture, but based on other actions they're still a part of the problem. To the gay crowd he'd be much more nuanced but when he spoke on Christian radio, etc., he was quite explicit that gays could/should change. |
