I wonder how Liv emerged unscathed.
Doesn't surprise me about ol' Steven. And I was one who dug Aerosmith back in the day.

If it helps, Rat. I'm younger than Clockwork and I know who Danny Kaye, and Tom Lehrer, and Billie Holiday are...My tastes in music are weird...
And why is it that everything Steven Tyler does seems to be him TRYING to look crazier and crazier?

The stat rape is sickening (and makes me really dislike Stephen Tyler, which is a shame -- I like a lot of Aerosmith's music -- I've even seen them in concert), but setting that aside for a second... Are they seriously trying to connect his drug use to the abortion? He was a rock star in the 70s -- being a drugged up, coked-out, alcoholic was pretty much par for the course. I wonder how Liv emerged unscathed. From what I can recall, she was mostly raised by her mother and another man (who I believe was also a well-known musician). It wasn't until she was older that she figured out that Stephen Tyler is her father.

I also hate the thought process that rich parent = good parent. While having the finances for a child is important, there's more to parenting than that. Or do they think that good parenting means being able to buy whatever the child wants?
EDIT: Here's the comment from the article that inspired this:

It's sickening how many people on both articles are defending Tyler simply because he regrets the abortion. If you don't regret your abortion, there is something wrong with you. A decision like that is always made with regret. That said, this story is just sick. Asking her parents to basically sell her to him so he can sexually exploit her and then get upset when the underage girl he knocked up gets an abortion, he gets all weepy. Disgusting.

A decision like that is always made with regret. That's a nice, emotionally charged statement you made there. Just because someone does not regret keeping the zygote that might have ruined their life doesn't mean there's something wrong with them.

That article isn't biased AT ALL. Wow, I never knew that about Steven Tyler. Has anyone here read that book? His personal autobiography just came out, I want to read it as soon as I can get my hands on it.

...Steven Tyler was the model for my insane rapist stalker pimp character, and I didn't even know it. That is...WOW. Right down to the scarred, ugly mug.
Hey, was Julia/Diana/wtfIShername blonde? 'cause that would just be INSANE.
*srs face* Steve, go fuck yourself. GO FUCK YOURSELF. GO. FUK. YOR. SELF. You fucking whore, you pulled all this morally detestable bullshit and yet YOU'RE the victim? WHO paid for the abortion again? WHO cheated around on a LITTLE GIRL? WHO was the CAUSE of all this in the FIRST GODDAMN PLACE??!!
You piece of shit. Go crawl under a rock.

And why is it that everything Steven Tyler does seems to be him TRYING to look crazier and crazier? I'm seventeen and I know who all three of those are (and I may have crushed on Danny Kaye at one point). Had to look up Steven Tyler, though. And my God, that man looks like the love child of Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka and Chord Overstreet. Also, that's really creepy. Who looks at their fourteen-year-old who is dating a twenty-year-old and immediately thinks, "What a wonderful idea! I should surrender my parenting rights to this guy! That's not a problem at all!"

Is it bad that I'm happy that some of you don't know who Steven Tyler is due to his now being a judge on American Idol?
For some reason, I'm proud that I can honestly say that I've found the few people on the internet who don't yell at me for not watching it.
