Snide remarks aside, who the hell hands their 14 year old daughter over to a 20 year old "boyfriend" like that?
How the hell does a 20 something year old even GET a 14 year old girlfriend, considering this was before the internet and all? You send your 14 year old off to live with her 20 year old boyfriend, and she gets pregnant. Who the fuck couldn't see THAT coming a mile off?

That's pretty fucking traumatic for a teenager, too. Honestly, I suspect that there were underlying emotional and psychological problems that weren't helping the situation. As for Mr. Tyler... *sigh*... On the one hand, I'm a bit of a fangirl. On the other... dude... that's just... okay, okay, it was the 70's, I know, but still... dude... a 14 year old?
